Aglientu

The Municipality of Aglientu stands on an area dominated by the characteristic granite hills that alternate
in a constant play of colours and shapes, rolling hills and green valleys. Such a varied and spectacular hinterland corresponds to a unique coastline, renowned in the Mediterranean horizon for the beauty of the beaches and for the almost uncontaminated nature that characterises it.

Among the sites of greatest interest we mention the granite promontory of Monti Russu, one of the sites of widespread appeal
thanks to its geological and naturalistic peculiarities. We also recall the seaside resorts of Lu Litarroni, Vignola, Rena Majore, famous for their clear waters and the very fine white sand of their beaches.

The municipality of Aglientu organises various events throughout the summer season with the various associations of the town, such as festivals of traditional products, the inevitable tourist festival (sausage and cheese festival) musical events such as the Aglientu Summer Blues Festival in August which has now become a must-see show for music lovers.
